Typically, Acid Proof Brick is a combination of an acidity proof tissue layer that is used to
protect metal equipment from corrosion by sulphuric acid. The brick itself is
not totally acid proof since a portion of the brick is acid soluble.The other function of the brick coating
is to reduce the temperature at the shall to a point where the acid proof layer
used will not be broken by high conditions.
Acid Brick systems provide a long-lasting solution to
protect the underlying membrane against technical damage and elevated
conditions.
